My Opinion About HallOfFamePorn:
For those looking for some classic porn titles, Hall Of Fame Porn offers some of the most infamous male and female pornstars in history. John Holmes, Seka, Ron Jeremy, Nina Hartley, Amber Lynn and a whole slew of others can be found on the pages of this site.
Navigating isn't the best. It seems a little confusing at first, but it's easy to get used to. Every month, members have the opportunity to vote on which pornstar should be initiated into the hall of fame and once there's a winner, then the pornstar gets inducted into a very special list inside the site. However, all the videos can be found in the video category and while there are 17 Hall of Fame inductees, there are 57 movies.
This is a fairly good amount, but there's even more with the HallOfFamePorn membership. You also get access to exclusive sites like CandidPornstar and Crygasm. Also, you get 49 sample videos from sites like CougarsInHeat, MeatMyAss, BreeOlsen and ILoveYouMya. There aren't any photos here and there also aren't any full-length videos. The scenes available aren't longer than 10 minutes. However, there are multiple formats.
All videos can be rated and there are excellent quality Flash streams as well as AVI (217kbps, 320x240), WMV (3173kbps, 640x480) and MP4 (723kbps, 480x320) downloads. Everything is yours to keep as there aren't any restrictions. The clarity of the films is good, but obviously some resolution is lost from the transfer from the original film to the current formats. Unfortunately, none of the videos look great in full-screen. However, the pornstars are a total treat. Watching the smoking hot Jill Kelly seduce Gina Ryder in a hot tub is juicy enough, but when Amber Lynn takes on John Leslie, you'll have to break out the fire hose.
While I felt there could have been more content and perhaps even the full videos, I really loved the extensive profiles. When you click on any of the pornstar names, you're taken to their personal page where you can learn all about their lives prior to porn, how they got started in the business and there is a top list of their best movies. It's a great area for fans, but not all of the stars have completed bios yet.
Final Verdict:
The problem with Hall Of Fame Porn is that it isn't a full-length film archive. The stars appear in multiple scenes, but they aren't much longer than 10 minutes. It would be great to have full access to the complete movie titles, like on some other retro porn archives. In any case, there are some great biographies to read and some fantastic and legendary stars in memorable porn moments.
